On day 87, we visited Voinovich park and the East 9th pier in Cleveland. This was our first time downtown after the riots so we drove around checking out some of the boarded up windows and remnants from a rough weekend in Cleveland a couple weeks prior. We’ve been to Voinovich park before, it’s a great spot overlooking the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and the William G. Mathur steam ship, with great lake views and newly constructed green space with volleyball courts and a small day-use marina. Also, if you’re looking for a little tourist action (whether you’re from CLE or not), there’s one of six Cleveland signs at this location to take a picture of or with. Highly recommend visiting this little urban oasis.
