On Day 8, we visited South Chagrin Reservation; another Cleveland Metroparks park… and so did half of Cuyahoga County it seemed. This was probably one of the busiest of our 100 parks. Luckily, we took a trail less traveled by. It was a hiking path that we decided to attempt to take our bikes… not our brightest idea… Corey attempted to ride his bicycle across a couple areas where the stream crossed the path… once successfully, once not-so-successfully… Carolyn refused which resulted in being calf-deep in water… bike tires covered in mud… and not until we got almost back to the car we then saw a sign on said path that said “no bikes”… guess we learned our lesson… for next time.
